Wheels For Meals, the Meals On Wheels of Greenville signature cycling event, was established in 2007 by one of our own, Larry Webb, principal at KDS Commercial Properties and past Chairman of MOW Greenville. Now in its 10th year, Wheels For Meals is the 2nd largest fundraising event for Meals On Wheels of Greenville behind its annual Sweetheart Ball black tie gala. Since its inception, Wheels For Meals has raised over $1,000,000 which has provided over 235,000 meals, free of charge, to needy individuals in our community — thus the reason we are so passionate about this event. 100% of the proceeds from Wheels For Meals furthers the mission of Meals On Wheels of Greenville which is to enhance the quality of life of homebound individuals by providing nutritious meals, personal contact, and related services.
Through the efforts of the KDS Cycling Team, we raised over $13,500 for this year’s event. Our Team was in full force, pedaling hard, and representing our donors.
