May 23, 2012Greenville City Council gave unanimous, preliminary approval Monday to acquire 33 acres of property along Fairforest Way that would be used to construct a new Public Works facility.
The West Greenville site of the current facility on Hudson Street could be turned into a public park on the Swamp Rabbit Trail, said Greenville Mayor Knox White.
