As a Spartanburg native, Tim is devoted to creating and maintaining long term relationships, which has served him well as an Advisor in commercial real estate since 2002. His previous leadership experience with Longleaf Development gave him the opportunity to oversee many of the transactions that have evolved in the Downtown and Central Business District over the past several years.

Prior to commercial real estate, Tim worked in the waste management industry with Container Corporation of Carolina (CCC) and Allied Waste. He holds a degree in History from the University of South Carolina at Spartanburg and has been involved with the Spartanburg Association of Realtors (MLS Director and Government Affairs Committee) Spartanburg Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Spartanburg, Boys and Girls Club, Wofford Terrier Club and Country Club of Spartanburg. He’s also a member of the Episcopal Church of the Advent.

He’s previously been the Past President of the Spartanburg Downtown Association, President of the Spartanburg Lion’s Club, Member of the Historic and Architectural Review Board, and is the current Scoutmaster for Troop 1.

Tim is the proud parent of Burd and Mary Yates Satterfield. Burd is attending Clemson and Mary Yates is a rising senior at Spartanburg High School.

Tim's extensive experience and dedication to his clients and community have allowed him the opportunity to create a reputation of unequaled trust with a commitment to service with integrity.
