Stephen Edgerton is president and CEO of Caine Company, which includes KDS Caine, Coldwell Banker Caine and Caine Hayes Insurance. More than 15 years ago, Edgerton joined Caine as chief operating officer and began evolving the then-75-year-old firm. Today the organization is known for its innovative attitude, its hundreds of high-caliber associates, and its deep commitment to community. 

At KDS Caine, Edgerton provides executive leadership to the KDS Caine team. With extensive experience in relationship building and business development, Edgerton also focuses on property management services and operational excellence within the KDS Caine organization.  

Edgerton is on the board of directors of Artisphere, the Metro Greenville YMCA Foundation, and United Way of Greenville County. He is also Chairman Elect of the Coldwell Banker Multi-Office Brokerage Peer Group and a member of the Young Presidents Organization. 

He has been involved in philanthropic efforts, including his leadership of the company’s Caine Cares program, which impacts the Upstate through programs focused on human services, animal welfare, arts, and health and wellness. Outside of work, he is involved in Meals on Wheels, delivering over 4,000 meals along the same route for more than 16 years.
