As our Senior Advisor of Facility Inspections and Condition Assessments, Mike brings extensive experience in building infrastructure inspections and facility condition assessments, having evaluated electrical, mechanical, structural, and roof systems for clients worldwide. At KDS Caine, Mike assists our team and clients through inspections, assessments, and guidance on facility conditions. He especially values helping property owners understand the total cost of ownership of their facilities and works with them to develop both short- and long-range maintenance plans.  

He began his career with the U.S. Navy Seabees, serving for 26 years in construction and maintenance management. Following his military career, he spent 13 years with Applied Management Engineering conducting assessments and seven years with Seabrook Solutions, LLC providing quality assurance for engineering teams worldwide.  

His work has supported the Department of Defense, Department of the Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs, National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management, Army National Guard, industrial facilities, and K–12 and higher education campuses. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Technology and Management, Cum Laude, from the University of Maryland.  

A resident of the Upstate for the past four years, he enjoys the community’s hospitality, traveling with family and friends, hiking, and outdoor activities, as well as active involvement in his church.
