Mark Masaschi, CCIM, principal at KDS Commercial Properties, recently represented Southport Road, LLC, in the leasing of 97,000 SF of newly-refurbished industrial space within the 8-acre Southport Industrial Park in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
After being purchased out of foreclosure, the entire park received a new facelift and the new ownership group repositioned the buildings into Class A warehouse space.
The new tenants—Vertical, LLC, and BLG Logistics, Inc.—plan to utilize the facilities for general warehouse and logistics.
BLG Logistics, Inc., a subsidiary of BLG LOGISTICS GROUP, a world leader in third-party logistics (3PL) with 100 locations and offices in Europe, America, Africa and Asia, will occupy 150 Southport Road. The Spartanburg operation will initially provide 3PL services to Minghua USA, Inc. which manufactures automotive bumpers, spoilers and related parts. This is BLG Logistics first upstate SC location.
Vertical, LLC, an organization based in Alpharetta, Georgia, specializing in servicing multifamily communities throughout the united states by partnering with property management companies and property owners to deliver value in renovation and construction projects, will occupy 148 Southport Road.
KDS Commercial Properties, LLC, provides property management for the leasing entity .
